Dorothy (Nutile) Morford, 89, passed away at her home in Rollinsford, NH on Monday, April 5, 2021 with her family by her side. 

Dorothy was born January 23, 1932 in Wakefield, MA the daughter of the late William and Ruth (Larson) Nutile.  She was a 1949 graduate of Wakefield High School.  After graduation she went to work for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Boston, MA. On June 9, 1956, she married Creighton T. Morford in Wakefield, MA. Dorothy & Creighton then moved to Ohio and started work with Union Carbide. 

Dorothy and Creighton made several moves before settling in Elma, New York where she and Creighton raised their family.  She later retired from Elderwood Affiliates in Williamsville, NY where she worked in their finance and bookkeeping office until 1991.  After retirement she and Creighton moved to their home in Rollinsford, NH.  

Dorothy loved to spend her summers with her family on Ossipee Lake in Freedom, New Hampshire.   Through the years she was very involved in her children’s life and activities, and during her retirement years was very involved in her grandchildren’s life.  Dorothy would always help out with their school activities and attended all their school performances and graduations.  She was so thankful for being able to stay so close to her children and grandchildren. 

She is survived by her two children Mark C. Morford and Holly R. Robacher both of Rollinsford, NH.  She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Derek C. Morford and Alex J. Robacher; a brother William R. Nutile of FL., and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband Creighton T. Morford of Rollinsford, NH and her sister Carol A. Pattle.

 Funeral services will be held at Lord Funeral Home, Wolfeboro, NH on Saturday June 5, 2021 starting at 1pm.  Interment will follow in Grant Hill Cemetery, Center Ossipee, NH.
