Eleanor Lyman Obituary

Silver Lake, NH

Eleanor Elliott Lyman

Eleanor Elliott Lyman, born on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1945, died peacefully at her home of more than 57 years in Silver Lake, NH, on December 28, 2023, following a period of declining health.

Eleanor was born in Wolfeboro to the late Albert and Gertrude Elliott and was raised in Chocorua. Though many people may not proclaim to have a favorite mountain, she did, having grown up in the shadow of Mt. Chocorua. Her art collection is a testament to that.

Eleanor worked for years at Kennett Realty, where her commitment and friendliness endeared her to colleagues and clients alike. She went on to work at several other local retail establishments before her retirement.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Brian Patrick Lyman, son Christopher Alan Lyman, and brothers James and Roger. Eleanor leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Eleanor is survived by her daughter, Kimberley Feinstein, of Acton, Massachusetts, and her husband Steven, as well as her two adored grandsons, Jacob and Zachary. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family was the most important thing to Eleanor, and she took great joy in the love and laughter shared with those she held dear.

A celebration of Eleanor's life will be held at the Madison Church on June 1, 2024 at 10:00 am. A reception at the church will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the charity or cause of your choice.
