Elizabeth “Betty” Brewster (Berry) Morrison, age 88, passed away peacefully January 31, 2022, in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Betty was born on November 22, 1933, on the family farm in Winthrop, Maine. Her family lived in Pelham, New Hampshire for many years before moving to Melvin Village in 1985.
Betty lived life to the fullest; she was young at heart with a feisty mischievous personality, always ready for an adventure. Betty could easily get people laughing, usually picking on the quietest at family gatherings. Betty found joy in her hobbies: knitting, sewing, and bird watching. She enjoyed supporting the Lakes Region Humane Society in Ossipee, New Hampshire. The most important thing to Betty was spending time with her children and grandchildren; she was a proud mother and grandmother.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Clarence Berry and Elizabeth Brewster (Gray) Berry and her two brothers Frank Clarence Berry Jr. and Russell Earnest Berry. She is survived by three brothers, Norman Harriman Berry, James Vance Berry, and Bradford (Sydney) Thomas Berry, her two children, Timothy Morrison and Susan (Keith) Elizabeth Morrison-Rogers, her four grandchildren, Elizabeth Morghan Morrison, Elizabeth Ann Morrison, Tucker Bruce Rogers, Case Orion Rogers, and a host of beloved cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11 o'clock on May 31st, 2022 at Gibson Cemetery in Pelham, New Hampshire. A small celebration of life will follow in June in Tuftonboro, New Hampshire. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Lakes Region Humane Society in Ossipee, New Hampshire.
