Evelyn Brown Obituary

Evelyn Anne Brown 90, of Center Ossipee, passed away on May 7, 2021., at her home. Evelyn was born in Effingham, NH. on June 8, 1930. To Warren and Mary Jane (Edwards) Judkins. Evelyn would often talked about how she would walk to the local school in Effingham. She attended High School in Haverhill, MA. Where she spent a lot of time with her favorite Aunt Evelyn. Who was like a mother to her.

After graduation she married Robert Eldridge and they had three children Linda, Lucy and Carl Eldridge. Evelyn stayed at home with her children for a while. After her children were old enough, She went to work Western Electric in North Andover, MA. for many years. She opened her own consignment shop in Sanford ME. She also worked for Walmart, was a LNA Home Caregiver.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter Lucy, Her six Grandchildren, Mark Christine, Cheryl, Carl White, Michelle, and Carl Eldridge Jr. Ten Great Grandchildren Justin, Audrianna, Ashley, Owen, Chandler, Alley, Lindsay, Brianna, Matt, and Randy., And may Great Great Grandchildren. Daughter in law Kathy Eldridge. Siblings Lee & Mildred Judkins.

She was predeceased by her Daughter Linda, Son Carl Eldridge of Center Ossipee, and their father Robert Eldridge, Her husband Larry Brown, Siblings Tommy, Duke Judkins, Sister Mable Berry, Companion Bob Goodard.

Evelyn loved to spend time with her family, and would often tell them to "Keep on the Sunny Side!. Always on the Sunny Side!" or " When the going gets tough!, The tough get going!" Evelyn had a very special bond with her grandson Carl White, and loved to go to the Casinos with him. She would say that he was like a son to her, and would refer to him as her Baby Boy. Later in life she lived with Carl at his residence in Center Ossipee.

Evelyn loved to dance and was an excellent Square Dancer. She loved to travel, She traveled to Israel, Jerusalem, Alaska, Traveled across country, She loved to spend the winters at her home in Florida. Evelyn's true love was her Yorkshire Terriers, She loved them and had a few "Tiffy's." She also loved her many grand dogs.
