Frances Rose Hooper, 94, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Monday, September 14, 2020.
Frances was born in Tuftonboro on October 13, 1925 and was immediately adopted by Ausbrey and Bernice Dow. She was raised on Tuftonboro Hill at Dow’s Apple Orchards where she learned hard work and love for her family.
On March 17, 1945 she married her love Ernest Hooper and stayed married to him for over 75 years. Francis and Ernest raised one son Garry and settled in Cotton Valley in East Wolfeboro, NH.
She was a self-employed housekeeper for many many years. Her love for flower gardens, travel, and yard sales were only surpassed by her love for family and friends. She left this world to rejoin her pre-deceased son Garry on September 14 just 30 days shy of 95 years old.
She leaves behind her beloved husband Ernest, her grandson Randy and wife Karen Hooper and their four children Kathy, Jessica, Randy Jr. and Stephen her other grandson John and his wife Diane and their children Brendan, Brent, Ryan, Sean, Brandy, Brooke, Evan and Julia she also leaves behind her daughter-in-law Kathleen Hooper and many many great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews!
A small gathering at their home will occur on September 27th with her grandson Pastor John Leading the memorial!
