Francis David Cressey

Francis David Cressey Rt. 153 Province Lake Road went to be at home with the Lord on October 8, 2023. Francis was born on July 1, 1946 to Francis and Mary (Moore) Cressey in Woburn, Mass. He moved to Rochester, NH in his senior year of high school. He graduated from Spaulding High in Rochester, NH. Francis left for the Navy in October 27, 1964 and served in combat in the Vietnam war until September 15, 1967.

Later Francis married Sandy Sweet and went on to have one daughter named Mary Ellen Jenkins. Mary Ellen lives in Florida and has four children.

Francis spent his career in music and art. He owned a store in San Franciso, California “Music and Rhythm” for many years. He spent most of his adult life living in California. He loved collecting music, art, and anything beautiful, because he was beautiful.

Francis also loved tattoos and had many himself, including tattoos of family members.

Francis is predeceased by his father Francis Cressey and mother Mary Cressey (Moore). He is survived by his daughter Mary Ellen Jenkins and grandchildren of Vera Beach, Florida. His brother Orrin and sister-in-law Ruth Cressey of Middleton, NH. Sister Mary Ellen and her husband Bob MacGregor of Acton, ME. Sister Beverly Cressey of East Wakefield, NH. As well as several nieces and nephews.

Francis was a beautiful son, brother, uncle and father. He will be missed by all.

Calling hours will be held at Lord Funeral Home in Center Ossipee, New Hampshire on October 13, 2023 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Funeral Mass and burial to follow at Grant Hill Cemetery in Center Ossipee, New Hampshire. Everyone is welcome to join the family.
