Frank Wheaton Mansfield, IV

Frank Wheaton Mansfield IV, 76, of Wolfeboro, NH, passed away at home on January 12, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Linda; his children Shawn-Christine Adjutant and her husband David of Effingham, NH; Stacey Heath and her husband Harley of Wolfeboro, NH; Deanna Rowley and her husband Bill of Alton, NH; and Frank Mansfield V, his grandchildren Danielle, Joseph and his wife Kim, Emma and her husband Rich, Samantha, Cody, Paydyn, Mayley, Caia, and Noah, as well as his great-grandchildren Jaiden, Sorin, Ryder, Beau, and Aspen.

Born in Cambridge, MA, Frank, met his wife Linda when he was 18 years old and she was 16 at Nuttings Lake. They were married in 1968 and resided in Billerica, MA, where they raised their four children. In 1985, Frank and Linda moved to Wolfeboro, NH, to the dream home Frank had built over many weekends.

A dedicated stone mason for 60 years, Frank took great pride in working with his hands, whether it was on a construction site or tending to his garden. His brick and stonework can be found throughout the East Coast, from Maine to Florida and Canada. 

In his spare time, he enjoyed hiking, walking his dogs, Cooper, Cali, and Sheeva, and spending time outdoors. His love for his dogs was as deep as his love for his children; they were a cherished part of his life.

Frank's legacy of hard work, devotion to his family, and love for the simple joys of life will be remembered by all who knew him.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at 4:00 PM a funeral Mass will be offered, at the Lord Funeral Home, 23 Club Lane, Wolfeboro, NH.
