George E. Zedalis, 81, passed away on December 25, 2025 at home lovingly surrounded by family in Tuftonboro, New Hampshire, after a brief illness. George was born and raised in Nashua/Hudson, New Hampshire, and later had ties to Swampscott, Massachusetts. He was the son of the late Adolph ‘Petesy’ Zedalis and Anna May (Hurd), and brother to the late Adolph ‘Joe’ Zedalis.
George was a Navy veteran who served his country proudly and steadfast. He was a long-time member of Local 103 I.B.E.W. as a Master Electrician and leaves behind many adored and esteemed friends. He raised his family in Winthrop, Massachusetts. George loved to tell stories and was as smart as they come. He lived his life for his family. He brought knowledge and poise to all he met. Intelligence and insight was his legacy to his children. He was a beloved member of the Tuftonboro United Methodist Church where he served as a Trustee and helped cook the monthly dinners. George loved to hunt and fish, and was a true outdoorsman. He especially loved ice fishing on the lake he called home, Winnipesaukee. A do-it-yourself kind of person, he taught his family everything they needed to know to take care of themselves.
A devout and loving husband and father, George is survived by his wife of 57 years, Estelle (Woytaszek) and three children, Lorraine A. Care of Haverhill, Massachusetts, Karen L.
