Gloria J. (Varney) Buswell of Center Tuftonboro, NH passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday October 26, 2022 at the age of 71 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Gloria, who we all called Nan, was born on November 8, 1950 to the late Harold Varney and Viola (Eldridge) Varney. She was predeceased by her three brothers; Ronald, Maurice, and Edgar Varney, and two sisters; Donna Sargent, and Barbara Hodge. Her grandson, Shawn P. Bell in 2015, also predeceased her.

Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Roland Buswell, her four children, Robert, Michelle, and Jessica Buswell, and Donna Sharp and her niece Sarah Custeau who is more like a daughter, and her only surviving sister, Mary Varney.

Nan was a hero to her grandchildren Jason, Dustin, John, Mike, Jayden, Scott, Vincent, Ben, Erin, Karyn, Dakota, her great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Gloria was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be missed dearly by all.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date
