Gordon Paul McCreary, 91, of Silver Lake, New Hampshire, went home to be with His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 20th, 2021, at 2:22 in the afternoon.
Gordon was born February 2nd, 1930 in Spokane, Washington. His life’s journey took him on an adventure that spanned every one of his 91 years. From Spokane to New York City to Michigan to Long Island to the U.S. Virgin Islands to the British West Indies, then back to the U.S.V.I., out to Colorado. And then finally coming to rest in New Hampshire.
Gordon, a builder and general contractor by trade, was also an avid pilot, automobile enthusiast, woodworker, and friend - often combining one or more with the other.
Gordon’s endearing qualities closely matched those of his heavenly Father. Eagar to help, slow to become angry, and always available.
He never missed an opportunity to lend a hand or speak a word of encouragement to anyone in need. Gordon loved mathematics and lived his life by a simple equation: he loved many, and they in kind loved him.
A farewell gathering in memory of Gordon - with a light reception to follow will be held Wednesday evening, June 2nd, 6 pm at Wolfeboro Bible Church, 533 Center Street, Wolfeboro, NH 03894.
