Gregory Wallace Obituary

Gregory S. Wallace, 70, of Effingham passed away at Wentworth Douglass Hospital on January 27, 2025, after a brief illness. He was born in Saco, Maine and previously resided in Bar Mills, Maine, North Reading Mass and North Andover Mass. Greg owned and operated H & S Medical in Portsmouth, NH for many years. He had a love of history, hiking, ice climbing, skydiving, motorcycling, and spending time on Shelter Island in Long Island, NY, Lake George, NY, and at his cousin’s camp on Great East Lake in Acton, Maine.

Survived by his wife Anne M (McCarthy) Wallace of Effingham, daughter Lisa M (Wallace) Howard of Wakefield, brother James Wallace and his wife Diane (Prusik) Wallace of McKinney, Texas, grandchildren Benjamin Howard of Wakefield, Dylan Debutts and his wife Allison Miller of Washington DC, Michelle Debutts and her finance Steven Ricker of Northwood, and great granddaughter Everlea Ricker, also of Northwood.

Predeceased by his parents Robert S Wallace and Brenda (West) Wallace, his sister Roberta (Bobbi) McAdoo, brother-in-law, Frank Buda, and grandson Brandon Howard.

Calling hours will be held at Lords Funeral Home, 23 Club Lane, Wolfeboro, NH on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Buffet luncheon to follow at Harley Jack’s, 1020 Route 16, Ossipee NH. Internment at Lovell Lake Cemetery, Wakefield, NH will be private and be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Effingham Firefighters Association, 1102 Province Lake Road, Effingham NH  03882.
