Herbert Hall, 81, of Center Ossipee, died on October 9, 2018, at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH.
Herbert was born in Rochester, NH, on November 22, 1936. He was pre-deceased by his parents Herbert Hall, Sr. and Velma (McDuffee) Hall. He is survived by his wife Natalie Vittum Hall, sons Dana Hall of Center Ossipee, David Hall of Tuftonboro, daughters Diane Hall Eldridge and Debra Hall Meserve of Center Ossipee, grandsons Jesse Hall, Nicholas Hall, Jakob Hall, Zachary Hall and Alan Meserve of Ossipee and Erick Eldridge of Ft. Lauderdale. He also leaves great grandchildren Bentley, Payson, Lacey and Connor Hall and Alaina, Rylee and Steven Meserve. He is survived by his brother, Donal Hall, of Rochester and was pre-deceased by brother Richard Hall of Farmington.
Herb held various jobs throughout his life. He owned Herb’s Service Center and Hall Oil Co. in Center Ossipee.
Herb served time in the US Army, was a member of the Whittier Lions Club, Rodney White Post VFW and the Antique Auto Club of America. Herb enjoyed Antique Auto Shows, including traveling to PA for the Hershey Car Meet in the fall, The Boston Red Sox, his garden and get togethers at their camp on Danforth Bay. He had a great sense of humor and was an excellent cook, cooking every holiday meal.
Visiting hours will be held at Lord Funeral Home in Center Ossipee on Sunday, October 14, 5-7 PM, with a service at the end of visiting hours. Burial will be at the Chickville Cemetery in Center Ossipee at an unknown date.
