Jean Swensen

Jean Margaret Swensen (79) passed away with her loving husband Joseph Swensen by her side on Saturday March 18, 2023.  

Jeans love of family was one her greatest passions. She is survived by her husband Joseph Swensen; Sons Stephen and Dona Young, Andrew Young, and Beth Gormley. She is also survived by her grandchildren Ethan and Abigail Young. 

Calling hours will be held Thursday March 23 beginning at 5:00pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, North Main Street, Wolfeboro, NH.  A Funeral Service will be celebrated following the brief visitation.  Burial will be in the New Hampshire veteran Cemetery, Boscawen on Friday March 24, 2023 at 10:00am.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lakes Region Humane Society. Checks can be made payable to "LRHS" and mailed to LRHS, PO Box 655, Ossipee, NH 03864. Memo line should read: "IMO Jean Swensen". Donations can also be made online at www.LRHS.net.  Jean's family will receive a notification card for each donation made.
