It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Jennie Cecelia (McKeage) Wentworth, on October 6, 2024, at the age of 76. She was a long-term resident of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, the latter years of which were spent at the Wolfeboro Bay Center.
Jennie was born in West Stewartstown, New Hampshire to the late Lyman R. and Blanche (Reynolds) McKeage. She met and married her beloved husband, David Wentworth, Sr. in 1971.
Jennie was a devoted wife and mother and a committed member of the First Christian Church in Wolfeboro for many years where she served in the children’s ministry and choir. She was known for having the heart of a servant and always looking for ways to give of her time and resources to help those around her who were in need. Jennie was greatly loved by all who knew her and will be missed by many.
Jennie was predeceased by her parents, Lyman and Blanche McKeage, and her sisters Linda and Rachel.
She is survived by her husband David Wentworth, Sr., stepson David Wentworth, Jr. and his wife Debbie, stepdaughter Tammy Jones and her husband Tim, daughter Carrie Wentworth, five grandchildren, a great-grandson, siblings Dennis Sr, Lyman Jr, Lea Rae, David Sr, Donna, Luke, and several loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
A celebration of life service will be held at a future date.
