Jennifer Leigh Keaton
Age 44, died peacefully in the arms of her husband at Massachusetts General Hospital on Monday September 25, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Jennifer was born and raised in Brewster, NY. She was the Commanding Officer for her Navy Jr. ROTC Company and a member of the band at Brewster High School. She attended Plymouth State University and majored in Music Education. She earned her master’s degree from Plymouth in Integrated Arts. Jennifer taught music at Loudon Elementary school. Jennifer was happily married to her husband Joshua Keaton for 17 years at the time of her death. Jennifer is survived by her husband and her adopted father, Vincent Merola.
Jennifer loved playing the flute. Hearing her play was such a joy. She was an active member of St. Katharine Drexel Church in Alton, NH. She and her husband participated in marriage preparation for young couples looking to get married in the catholic church. She would do anything for others. She touched so many lives and will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Jennifers calling hours will be on Friday October 6 from 5:00-8:00 pm at St. Katharin Drexel Church in Alton, NH. Her Mass of the Resurrection will be on Saturday October 7, at 11:00 am at St. Katharine Drexel Church followed by a luncheon in the Parish Hall. In Lieu of Flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society as well as the Gary Corcoran Memorial Scholarship at Plymouth State University.
