Jerry Bruce Wiggin Sr., 79, born on November 8, 1944, in Wolfeboro, NH, to the late Shirley and Ethel Wiggin. Jerry grew up and lived his life in Center Ossipee. On July 11, 2024, surrounded by his family at his home in Center Ossipee, NH he passed away.
Everyone knew Jerry by his kind heart, caring nature, and let’s not forget his incredible sense of humor and ability to make anyone laugh. He was a family man who enjoyed his life with his wife Donna, doggy Alice, his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Jerry had a love for country and bluegrass music and he played with the Bluegrass Country Boys for several years. On Wednesday evenings he would join his friends in Madison for a weekly bluegrass jam session. He played the guitar, standup bass, and he was a singer. Jerry was an avid knife collector as well. Jerry worked for over 28 years at the Frankson Furniture which was later known as the Yield House.
Jerry’s favorite place to visit and camp was Thomas Point Beach in Brunswick, Maine. His favorite place to eat was Ye Olde English Fish and Chips where he enjoyed his fried clams and ketchup. Christmas time was his favorite time of year. He had enough decorations to decorate four houses, but that didn’t stop him from perusing the clearance isles at Walmart after the holiday. Jerry had a special place in his heart for the local wildlife and enjoyed watching his visitors out the windows.
Jerry was predeceased by his parents Ethel and Shirley Wiggin; his first wife Linda Dore Wiggin; and his son Jerry Bruce Wiggin II; two sisters, Marie Jenness and Mavis Emerson and a nephew Allen Shanon.
He is survived by his second wife Donna (Lawrence) Wiggin; his daughter Ann Adjutant and son-in-law Randy Adjutant of Center Ossipee; his daughter Deana Adjutant and son-in-law Matt Adjutant of Tuftonboro; and a very special sister-in-law, Diane Carmon and her husband Bob Carmon of Florida.
