John Reed Obituary

                John B. Reed, 61 years old of Hudson Florida, formerly of New Durham, NH, passed away on March 8, 2025 from declining health. He was born on April 25, 1963 in Concord, NH to the late Mr. and Mrs. William Reed.

                John spent most of his childhood in Ossipee, NH. After graduating from Kingswood High School in 1981, John joined the United States Air Force service his country for 28 years before retiring in 2010 as Master Sargent. John then kept working closely with the military, with Martin’s Point Healthcare, ensuring that all military personnel were educated about their military health benefits. He did this for over 10 years until he was diagnosed with Cancer in November 2022. This is when John and Tammy decided to retire and relocate to Hudson, Florida.

                John is survived by his wife, Tammera Reed, of 33 years. His daughter Nicole (Reed) and her husband Jared Cambell with their children Charlie and Zyla of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Austin Reed and girlfriend Nyree Sharkey with their children Carter and Scarlett of Peoria, Illinois. John is also survived by his siblings Rick and Jennifer Reed of Chatham, Massachusetts, Mike and Bonnie Reed of Booth Bay, Maine and Carol Sanders-Reed of New Mexico. John also had many nieces and nephews along with their children.

                John will be laid to rest at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, in Boscawen, New Hampshire on May 19, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. There will be a celebration of Life at the Common Man Restaurant immediately following the funeral service.
