John M Saucier

John M. Saucier, 71, of Effingham passed away Friday, January 3, 202o at his home.  He was born November 19, 1948 in Eagle Lake, Maine the son of the late Louis and Lucille (Lauze) Saucier.

He was a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War.

Salmon Falls Garage, Maple Sugar Band, Ridge Top Farm. This is to list only a few of John’s accomplishments.  We would fall short if we tried to list them all. His time in the Army created friendships with unbreakable bonds.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, music and telling a good joke.  If he was not dancing to the music he was in the band.  He had a love for his family that was easy to see.  The larger the family got the more proud he became.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ruth Saucier, Effingham, NH and their children; Luke Saucier and his wife Ann and their children Jacob & Carissa; daughter Angela Misiaszek and her husband Darryl and their children Samantha and Deanna; daughter Rochelle (Rocky) Grupp and her husband James and their children Orion and Opal; daughter Chantale Maloney and her husband Guy and their son Errol.

He also leaves behind his siblings, Jeanne Amidon, Paul Saucier, Louis Saucier Jr., Barbara Welch and Linda Rake.

A spring burial will be held with Military Honors at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.  Details will be communicated to family and friends as it approaches.
