Josephine Bisbee Obituary

Josephine Anna (Misiak) Bisbee joined her husband Clyde and her Lord on July 14, 2020. She died peacefully in the presence of her caring staff at Mountain View Nursing Home.

Josie was born March 10, 1925 in Manchester, NH. She was the daughter of Stanley J and Anna L. Misiak. She grew up and attended schools in Manchester beside her brother and sister, and later worked in various positions as a housekeeper, a nanny, or in local mills. She moved to Wolfeboro in the 1950's and worked in Libby's Laundry.

She met the love of her life, Clyde Bisbee, when he came to repair her TV at her home on Grove Street in Wolfeboro. They married in 1962 and resided in Tuftonboro Corner. Josie lost Clyde in 2008 after 46 years of marriage. She enjoyed her life there with her animals especially her cats, working , helping Clyde, driving her John Deere lawn mower, picking, and selling raspberries, and meeting customer who came to their TV shop for repair work. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots Fan watching all their games.

Josie moved to Mountain View Nursing Home in 2015 and she enjoyed her life there. She will be remembered for her good-natured attitude and sense of humor, her love of bingo and hymns and for being a joy to all she met.
