Joyce Ann Galvin passed away on May 12, 2023 in her hometown of Wolfeboro, NH, the town she loved. She was born on November 17th, 1939, to Lloyd and Ruth Galvin. After graduating from Brewster Free Academy in Wolfeboro, she attended the University of New Hampshire and obtained a degree in psychology and went on to attain a Masters in Library Science. Joyce worked as a librarian at a law firm and at a book store in Concord, NH. Joyce was known for her love of books, photography, antiques, music, and, most of all, her beloved cats. Her sharp mind, dry sense of humor, and mischievous smile endeared her to her many friends. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wolfeboro.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents and her brother Paul, whom she adored. She is survived by her uncle, Jim Batten, of Concord, N.H. Services will be private.
