Judith (Carr) Breuninger

Judith Carr Breuninger, 88 of Tuftonboro, NH passed away August 1, 2023.  She was born September 21, 1934 to the Honorable Emery Wendell Carr and Edith Hoppin Carr.

Judy attended Miss Beards School, NJ, Carpenter School and Brewster Academy, Wolfeboro, NH and graduated from Montclair High School, Montclair, NJ in 1953.  She graduated from Catherine Gibbs Secretarial School in 1955.

Judy worked as an Executive Administrator in the medical and legal fields and worked as a Model and Actress with Copley 7, Boston, MA.

She was a member of The Skating Club of Boston where she skated for many years in their Ice Show, Ice Chips and was a member of Hayden Recreation Center Lexington, MA, competing nationally and internationally in Synchronized skating.  Judy was on the Wolfeboro Planning Board for 10 years, the Wolfeboro Town Hall Committee and several other committees over the years as well as volunteer with many organizations.  She was a camper for 8 years at Camp Winnemont, was a past member of the Abenaki Outing Club, Carcajou Ski Club, Hanover, NH; The University Club of Boston, Wolfeboro Garden Club, The Village Players, Past member of the Wychmere Harbor Club and Bald Peak Colony Club, Melvin Village, NH 1967-2015.

Her greatest love and commitment was to her family.  Judy was pre-deceased by her Husband Lewis (“Tooge”) Talmadge Breuninger, Jr.  She leaves her three children, Jennifer O. Todesco, Christopher W. Stigum (Victoria) and Elise H. Stigum.  Her five Grandchildren, William W. Todesco (Ashley), Victoria A Todesco, Kathryn E. Bowden (Zack), Christopher D. Tyminski, John L. Tyminski and their father Daniel J. Tyminski.  She also leaves her three precious Great-Grandchildren Margot E. Bowden, Emmett M. Bowden and Rosemary L. Bowden as well as leaving her Brother John (“Jake”) T. Carr (Eileen), her Nephews Emery Wendell Carr (Laura), Nathanial Carr (Sarah) and their children William Q. Carr and Sofia C. Carr.  Her Son-in-law William R. Todesco, Jr. pre-deceased her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 11 AM at the All Saints Episcopal Church, 258 South Main Street, Wolfeboro, NH
