Tuftonboro, NH
Kathy Ann Stockman, 69, of Tuftonboro, NH, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH after a period of declining health. Born Kathleen Ann Foy on October, 30, 1952 in Westfield, Mass., she was predeceased by her parents Evelyn (Carhuff) Foy and William J. Foy, Jr.
Raised in the warmer climate of the southern United States, she landed in New Hampshire to live the next stage of her life and grow her family.
Kathy was a multifaceted woman. She was quiet and also outgoing. She was sensitive and also strong. She knew what she liked and had conviction behind what she knew she didn’t like.
She despised the cold but cherished the warmth of family gatherings. She especially found joy in events and holidays where family would gather to savor good food and compete in fun and unique games.
She enjoyed visiting places where she could feel the warm sun, relax by a pool, read books and play games like cards and backgammon. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She leaves behind her husband of 38 years, William “Bill” Stockman of Tuftonboro, NH; her oldest son Derek McKenna and his wife Ally McKenna of Moultonborough, NH; her middle son Martin McKenna and his wife Courtney McKenna of Tuftonboro, NH; her youngest son William “Lee” Stockman, Jr. and his wife Monika O’Clair of East Wakefield, NH; her special sister-in-law Melody Stockman of Melvin Village, NH; her beloved grandchildren Lindsey, Danny, Magnolia and Ivy (who all lovingly referred to her as “Honey”). She also leaves behind nieces, nephews, and other close and extended family members as well as friends both near and far.
Calling hours will take place at Lord Funeral Home in Wolfeboro, NH, www.lordfuneralhome.com, on Saturday, March 26, from 3 – 5 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for close family and friends.
