Kenneth W. Hlushuk

Kenneth “Ken” W. Hlushuk, 92, of Center Tuftonboro, NH passed away February 1, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Ken was born on June 21, 1932, in Center Tuftonboro, NH to the late Jack and Leora (Adjutant) Hlushuk. Ken is survived by his wife of 72 years, Claire (Glidden) Hlushuk; their four children, Ken Hlushuk of Center Tuftonboro, April (Hlushuk) Stephens and her husband Rick of Center Harbor, Wade Hlushuk and his wife Theresa of Center Tuftonboro, and Steve Hlushuk of Wolfeboro; 4 grandchildren, Brian Stephens, Kali Stephens, Michael Hlushuk, and David Hlushuk; and 14 great grandchildren.

Ken worked with his dad logging when he was a young man. He worked for 21 years on the “Vappi” Farm in Moultonborough, NH before starting his excavation business and moved back to Center Tuftonboro, NH in 1974.

Ken was well known by his friends who attend the Tuftonboro Country, Bluegrass and Gospel Jam sessions on Tuesday evenings at the Old White Church, Center Tuftonboro, NH where he loved to sing. He was also a part of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International, Wolfeboro and loved Jesus.

Ken loved hunting, fishing and being out in the woods with his chainsaw. He was well loved by his family, friends and people he worked for. Ken was known for his smile, integrity and a willingness to always serve others.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Lakeview Cemetery in Wolfeboro, NH. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Ken's name to a charity of your choice.

Lord Funeral Home of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire will be assisting the family with arrangements.
