Kristina Buswell

It is with great sadness that the family of Kristina Buswell announces her passing on March 21, 2025. Kristina was born on May 21, 1994, in Belfast, ME.

She grew up in Effingham, NH where she attended Effingham Elementary School and went on to graduate from Kingswood High School. She was a bright light in the classroom, interested in many subjects. Being athletic as well, her recess time could be spent in competitive sports or just reading quietly at the picnic table. She was a gifted writer and an award-winning poet, as recognized by Kingswood High School. She was an animal lover, and they were often the subjects of her writing.

She loved the outdoors and always looked forward to the annual Green Mountain hikes. Kristina made friends easily and could relate to all kinds of people. While there were times when she was reserved, she had her struggles, she always had a way of putting others first. She approached relationships with an honest, open heart and worked hard to excel in her profession and personal life. Her love of people, nature, and her hobbies was only surpassed by her love for her family.

Kristina was the beloved daughter of Pam and Richard Buswell, and a dear Granddaughter of Rowena Lisa and Pat Dewitt. She was cherished by her extended family, friends, and Co-workers.

Kristina was a true daughter of Effingham-the first to extend a helping hand, a hand in friendship, or simply a hand to hold when needed. She will be greatly missed.

At the request of the family, services will be held privately at a later date.
