Lawrence C. Sargent, Jr.

Lawrence C. Sargent, Jr., 79, of Effingham Falls, N.H. passed away Thursday August 16th, 2018 at his home.

He was born January 17th, 1939, son of the late Lawrence and Ruth H. Sargent. He was a native and lifelong resident of Effingham.

Lawrence had worked as a stacker for New England Box Company which later became New England Lumber Company and is now known as International Paper in Madison, N.H.

He is survived by his sister Ruth I. Frost of Effingham, N.H.; his niece Gloria Grant and her husband Larry and their son, Aaron all of East Conway, N.H.; a nephew, Cecil Frost and his wife Roseanne of Farmington, N.H.; a niece, Gail frost of Tamworth, N.H. and lastly his niece Deborah Jordan and her two sons, Shane and Sean, of Effingham, N.H.

Lawrence was predeceased by his brothers Alfred W. Sargent and Richard L. Sargent and Richard’s wife, Donna.

At the family’s request , there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held Saturday August 18th, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Effingham Falls Cemetery in Effingham, N.H.
