Lila Elaine (McMullen) Heath

Lila Elaine Heath of Silver Lake, NH, passed away on June 25, 2025 at the age of 83. She was born on July 15, 1941 in Boston, MA to the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Lillian (White) McMullen.

Lila lived in Weymouth MA, with her mother, father, and brother. Lila saved her family from a house fire when she was around 7 years old.

Lila loved music and as a young girl, she took tap dancing. She then met her future husband John in November of 1959 at her work. It was an instant love affair and they were married on June 25, 1961. They had three children, two boys and a girl. Lila worked as a secretary in a doctor’s office and at a Plastics Company until she went to work for her husband in his business in 1972.

When her children were grown Lila became involved with square dancing. She loved it so much! This was a big accomplishment for Lila. She went on to teach it.

A graveside service to celebrate Lila’s life will be held at the Gilman Cemetery in Madison and will be announced at a later time.
