Linda Jean (Parker) Sluss, 56, a loving wife and mother of four, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family at her home in Brookfield, New Hampshire on May 27, 2024, following an extended illness.
Linda leaves behind her devoted husband James, as well as three sons, Zachary, Declan, and Christian, and her daughter, Sabrina, and her fiancé, Kevin. Linda is the beloved daughter of Kenneth & Maria Parker of Westerly, Rhode Island. She is also survived by her four siblings, Steve (wife Lori); Christina (husband Steve); John (wife Jessica), Michael (wife Emily) and James's surviving eight loving sisters and brothers. Linda also leaves many extended family members including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Linda graduated from the University of Rhode Island and as a certified medical herbalist, founded “Root Cellar Herbs” which she operated for many years. Linda excelled at gardening, loved fishing, card playing, laughter, and enthusiastically engaged with nature and spirituality. Her most favorite place in the world was on the beach where she could swim to her heart's content!
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at St. Katharine Drexel Church in Alton, New Hampshire.
