Linden Joy MacPhail

Linden Joy MacPhail, whose family recently moved to Tuftonboro from Medford, Oregon, passed away suddenly at Huggins Hospital on February 8, 2022.  Linden was the daughter of Andrew and Megan (Fadling) MacPhail.  She was just 19 months old and born in Medford, Oregon on July 2, 2020. 

Linden was a beautiful little girl; a vibrant and thriving toddler whose tragic and unexplained death has created a deep, dark emptiness and sadness in her home once filled with joyous energy and spontaneous laughter.  Her grieving family had every expectation of a long, happy, and love-filled life for her.  She mastered walking and running, had begun to communicate with connected words, and could blow kisses and give hugs that melted the hardest hearts. The sound of tiny footsteps coming down the hallway from her room each morning announced the arrival of sunshine, laughter, and a feeling of wonderful serenity watching the miracle she truly was.  In her tragically short life, she blessed the lives of her loving family and so many others with her smile, her hugs, and frequent laughter.  She was loved beyond words and will remain forever in our hearts. 

Linden is survived by her parents, her older sister Caelyn K MacPhail, her maternal grandparents, Susan Davidson of Depoe Bay, Oregon and Mark Fadling of Medford, Oregon, her maternal great grandparents, Dennis and Beverly Fadling of Central Point, Oregon and her paternal grandparents, Thomas and Kathleen MacPhail.  

A Memorial Service will be held on Sat., Feb 19, 2022 at 3PM at Lord’s Funeral Home, 23 Club Lane,  Wolfeboro, NH.
