July 4, 1954 – March 6, 2022 

Hello Everyone... My body failed me early Sunday morning, March 6, 2022; my life was anything but a failure. For those who did not know me, my name was Liz Tallman-Brown, depending on what era of my life we crossed paths you may have called me Tiny, Lizzy the Lizard, Harriet, daughter, little sister, wife,
best friend, sweetheart, Ma, Mother, Grandma, or Great Grandma (my favorite title was Grandma). I had my homestead in Effingham New Hampshire.
I would like to thank my parents and sibling who are predeceased, Mother Kristina F. Tallman and Father Leon D. Tallman and brother Jacob Tallman, along with my surviving siblings Leon “Chet” Tallman and his wife Elloise, and Brynhild Tallman for molding me into the person I was. Thank you, Chet, and Brynhild for making me an aunt.

I had many adventures in life with wild teenage stories, being a lifelong student, finding the love of my life, but my family was the greatest and where I live on. I leave my legacy in my children Tara K.L. Burdette, John L. Burdette, Dewie Vandelay, and stepdaughter Amanda Gray. My hope is that everyone who made our home theirs. Remember there is always room for one more at the table; baby toes are for nibbling, and to keep it creative. People say I fought a courageous fight, the way I see it, I lived my life with cards I was dealt the best I could. Always remember it is not the cards you are dealt that define you but the way you deal with them.

Katie White and Trea Burdette, my eldest grandchildren, it is your job to teach the younger ones of my great love, lending an ear, and to foster the importance of family. My grandchildren Stephen Burdette and his wife Taylor, Luca Hollingsworth, Justin Trudeau, Josh Trudeau, Cassandra Randall, Zachary Haley, Kendall Vandelay, Sophie Vandelay, and my great grandchildren Madalyn White, Braydon Dutra, Jackson Morrow, Theordore Morrow, Arya Burdette, Merrick Burdette, and Tallulah Trudeau, you are my world.
