Marc Keith Held

Marc Keith Held was born on January 7, 1959, in Brooklyn, New York to Arthur and Rosalind Held. He was raised in South Brunswick, New Jersey alongside his three siblings, Ronald, Elaine and Fran. He graduated from South Brunswick High School in 1977 where he was enthusiastically head of the student council.

He met his wife Kathryn at Trenton State College, and they were married at the Acquinas Institute at Princeton University on a beautiful September day in 1983. Marc eventually moved his young family to Yarmouth, Maine where they resided for 31 years.

He was the proud and hardworking owner of his IT consulting business, MKH Consulting Services, for over 30 years. He immersed himself in his work and loved problem solving and helping his clients. He brought his family to North Conway, New Hampshire every year, where they would make special memories in the White Mountains. In their later years, he and Katie moved to their cherished house in Tamworth, New Hampshire, where they bought a farm complete with horses, chickens and ducks.

Marc passed away on October 31, 2024. He is survived by his wife Kathryn Held, his children and their husbands, Emily and Sean Farrell of Brighton, Massachusetts, Becca and Mike Classen of Nashville, Tennessee, and Jonathan Held of Tamworth, New Hampshire. He joins his beloved son William in heaven.

Mass services will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 300 NH Route 25, Meredith, New Hampshire on Monday, November 4, 2024, at 10 am. Committal services will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery on Smith Street in Yarmouth, Maine on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 11 am.

Marc was an unstoppable force, a strong leader, loyal friend, and loving husband and father. He will be missed by all.
