Margaret A. "Peggy" Newman

Margaret “Peggy” Newman age 81, daughter of Gilbert and Mary Hudson, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 11th surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Dexter, ME, grew up in Portsmouth NH, lived many years in Northwood, NH but was currently residing in Ossipee with her family and Wolfeboro Bay center. She worked at Kingston Warren for over 30 years, and at the Chicken Shop to socialize and make friends. 

Peggy was known for her dirty humor, her love for her family, and her ability to bring joy to anyone she met.  She spent the last 9 months at Wolfeboro Bay with her roommate Jenny who became her best friend and her “girls” that worked at the nursing home. Peggy loved nothing more than her family, singing, telling jokes to get everyone laughing, and just being present and spending time with the people around her. 

Peggy is predeceased by her parents Gilbert & Mary Hudson of Portsmouth; Brother Lenny Hudson of Rochester NH; Sister Rose Marie Remick of Phoenix AZ; Brother Gilbert Hudson of Portsmouth NH; Brother Tony Hudson of Exeter NH 

Peggy is survived by her son David, wife Wendie; Sister Donna Stadig; Brothers Jimmy Hudson, wife Brenda, Buddy Hudson, wife Judy; Grandsons John, Kevin Harzbecker, wife Sarah, Jacob, Derick; Granddaughter Hannah; Great Grandchildren, Dominick, Kiley, Nara, Dahlila, Joshua, Wyatt, Carter, Ashton, Kinsley, Haliston, Owen and many cousins, Nieces, Nephews and friends. 

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 14th at 4:00pm at Lord’s Funeral Home in Wolfeboro, NH for anyone who would like to attend.
