Marilyn Ann (Woodward) Elliott passed away at the Merriman House in North Conway, NH on February 25, 2025, at the age of 89 years old. She was born on May 1, 1935, in Wolfeboro, NH to the late Mr. and Mrs. Forrest and Mary (Leavitt) Woodward.
Marilyn was a hardworking and loving devoted mother. For many years she could be found working at Barnabys Steak House in North Conway. She really enjoyed those years and the friendships she made with her co-workers. She loved her children and provided a caring and nurturing home. She had a fondness for her dog K.C. and black Labs in general.
Marilyn’s moto was “early to bed with a good book, and early to rise to a new day”. She also enjoyed taking Sunday drives throughout the towns in the area and always finding a nice back road to see the beautiful nature and wildlife. She loved cookouts with her family whether at her home in Albany or at her parents’ home in Tamworth. Marilyn was always in her happy place when she was surrounded by her family and friends. During the summer months, Marilyn would often take her mom for those nice back road rides and often those rides would end up at the Red Hill Dairy Bar in Center Harbor for a nice meal.
Marilyn is survived by three children, Michael Elliott, wife Mary of Fryeburg, ME, Kevin Elliott, wife Andrea of Madison, NH, and John Elliott, fiancé Kelly also of Madison, NH; she also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, Cathy, Scott, Jessee, Mitchell, Krystal, Brooke and Jack and 9 great grandchildren; as well as her siblings Freeman Woodward of Colebrook, NH, Robert Woodward of Tamworth, NH, and Melvin Woodward of Tamworth, NH.
