Merle Louise Sciacca

Merle Louise Sciacca, 81 years old, of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2024. She was born in 1942 in Methuen, Massachusetts where she attended school, graduating with the class of 1960. She went on to earn an associate’s degree in interior design. 

She met her husband Kenneth and the two were married in 1963. Merle was an administrative assistant, artist and teacher who worked at Western Electric, Addison-Wesley Publishing Company, and the Hampstead, New Hampshire school district. She and her husband eventually retired to North Conway, New Hampshire to enjoy the mountains, trails and ski areas.

She will be remembered for her love of nature and the outdoors, her kindness, and her many works of art which remain on display throughout the state of New Hampshire and beyond.  

She is survived by her husband and daughter. Services will be held June 8, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Lord Funeral home in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.  

Donations in her memory may be made to the New Hampshire SPCA.  

Lord Funeral Home of Wolfeboro will be assisting the family with arrangements.
