Michael S. Coughlin

Michael Stephen Coughlin, age 57, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 16, 2018.  

Michael was born on June 18th, 1960 to Mary Lynch (Kelley) and Edwin Coughlin. Michael grew up in Somerville, Massachusetts with his sisters, Nora and Catharine and his brother Robert.

Since the day he was born he has been a die-hard New England sports fan attending countless Bruins, Celtics, Patriots and Red Sox games. He attended Somerville High School, Somerville, MA and practiced carpentry.

Michael lived in Wolfeboro, NH with his family. He attended every sporting event, dance recital, chorus concert etc. that his kids participated in. He was a proud father and encouraged his children to pursue what would make them happy. He enjoyed golfing and talking sports with anyone that would listen, as well as spending time with his kids and his granddaughter. He loved his family unconditionally.

Michael is survived by his mother Mary, his wife Sandra (Wolfeboro, NH), his daughter Amanda and her husband Adam (Portland, ME), his sons Rory and Patrick, his daughters Julia and Bridget (Wolfeboro, NH), his granddaughter Stella (Amanda and Adam) and his siblings Catharine, Nora and Robert.

Calling hours are Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Lord Funeral Home, Wolfeboro, NH. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 3:30pm at St.
Katharine Drexel Church, Alton, NH.
