Nancy E. Nystrom, Wolfeboro, NH

Nancy E. Nystrom, 92, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026 after living a long loved filled life.

Born on Tuesday, August 22, 1933, Nancy grew up in Nova Scotia raised by her loving grandparents. A one room schoolhouse, a favorite grey cat, many dolls, and life long memories of happy days on the farm.

After moving to Massachusetts, Nancy attended nursing school and became a Registered Nurse. She met and married her husband, Robert Nystrom. They had 53 years of a truly remarkable loving relationship. Together they raised four children, and were blessed with three grandchildren.

Along with being a loving wife, devoted mother, and respected nurse she volunteered and ran the Life's Ministries Food Pantry, in Wolfeboro, NH, for 10 years. It gave her great pleasure to help so many families through food and kindness.

From the many happy years of family vacations in Wolfeboro, NH, Bob and Nancy retired by Lake Wentworth. Memorable years together enjoying the simple beauty of birds, flowers, family and friends. 'So many blessings in my life' was always written in her journals.

Now reunited with her 'precious darling' her life is complete. Eternal happiness, love and contentment are hers.

She is predeceased by her husband Robert F. Nystrom, a daughter Laura J. Nystrom, and a brother, Richard Swaine of Saint Louis, MO. She is survived by Stanley Nystrom of Appleton, WI, Lisa Boiko of Chelmsford, MA, Paul Nystrom of Booneville, NY and three grandchildren.

Per Nancy, an intimate family celebration of life is planned. In lieu of flowers, a random act of kindness or charitable donation is her wish. Her life was our blessing, her memory our treasure.
