Raymond Charron Obituary

Raymond Charron, 74 of Norton, Massachusetts, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025 after a period of declining health.

Ray was the son of the late Marcel Charron and Eileen May (Paquin) Charron. He spent most of his life residing in Norton and Attleboro, Massachusetts.

He started his own small business doing upholstery, making boat seat covers, van seat covers, tonneau covers, convertible tops, boat tops and more. Ray had a very creative mind, and he loved working with his hands.

In his younger years, Ray loved muscles cars, riding his motorcycle, skiing, road trips to New Hampshire, going to the beach, especially on Cape Cod, and spending time with friends and family. He never wanted to miss the weekly get togethers’ with Spags and the crew. He would plan ahead and try new recipes; he always loved good food. And of course, a cold beer or two to go along with it.

Ray also enjoyed gardening, often giving away more than he ate, canning veggies, being creative, tinkering on little projects, and the simple things in life. He loved watching NASCAR races, Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, The Red Sox, and of course, The Boston Bruins. Ray loved the old Boston Garden.

Ray is survived by his children, Heather Vincent and Allison Charron. He is also survived by his brother Leo M. Charron and his wife Susan, Larry J. Charron, James B. Charron and sister Lynn M. Charron-Newman and her husband Adam. Other family members include: Tatum McIsaac, Christopher Charron, Zacorey (Zac) Charron, Brandon Detomasi along with several grandchildren. Along with many friends Ray made along the way.
