Richard Hafford Sr.

Ossipee, NH 

Richard Hafford Sr (69) long time resident of Ossipee, NH lost his battle with cancer and passed away at his home on July 12, 2022. Born in Maine on May 23, 1953 to Cyrus and Exina Hafford, Richard grew up in a large family being one of twenty-one children.  He spent some years being raised on a farm before moving to Massachusetts where he met his wife at the age of 13.  

In his youth he enjoyed working on trucks, especially Chevys. Richard also took pride in where he worked at Tufpak Inc for over 30 years as a pressman. In his free time he enjoyed watching wrestling and movies. As the years passed and his family grew, Richard loved spending time and hearing stories about his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  

Richard is preceded in death by multiple brothers and sisters and his son Richard Hafford Jr. 

He is survived by his wife of 49 years Linda Hafford. Brothers Michael (Barbara) Hafford, Jeffrey (Amber) Hafford, sister Gloria Abbott. Son Arthur (Laura) Hafford, grandchildren Samantha, Lindalee, Richard, Destiny, Felicia, Alyssa. Daughter Carla Bickford, grandchildren Stephanie, Matthew, Anthony, Heather, Ashley, David, Johnny, Jana. Son Christopher (Shelby) Hartford, grandchildren Caleb, Abigail. Daughter BillyJo (Shane) Hafford-Whitman, grandchildren Brayden, Paisleigh, Aliyah. Along with many nieces, nephews and 36 great grandchildren with 5 on the way.
