Robert Dean Fletcher of North Sandwich (02/11/1952 to 12/31/2023)
On 12/31/2023 we lost one of the most amazing, kindhearted, talented, stubborn man on earth with his wife & sons by his side. Bobby was always there to lend a helping hand. He was the type of man to help someone before he would help himself & never expected anything in return. He was the brother who would hop on a plane to surprise his sister for her birthday dinner and plan on flying back the next morning.
Bob was from Attleboro, MA & self-employed most of his life. When he retired, he enjoyed life to the fullest, some of his hobbies included gardening, maple syrup, whipping up a delicious meal, working with his excavator (not everyone can build a waterfall), four wheeling up the hill & power lines, firewood, reading, visiting Escourt Station, Lubec, Maine and driving through the North Maine Woods & staying at the Macammac Camp.
He leaves behind his wife Jayne Mudgett, his 2 sons Nathan Robert & Matthew Dean, his grandson Riley Balance Fletcher and Frankie, his sister Dottie Smith, drinking buddy Gary (Moose) & many friends, some were from his childhood at the lake, whom he just got together with this past summer & put on an amazing clambake for all. He is predeceased in death by his sister Betty Krawiec and parents William & Dorothy Fletcher.
There will be a celebration of life on February 10, 2024 at the Sandwich Benz Center from 1:00 to 4:00. Burial will be at a later date.
