Robert "Bobby" Duchano Obituary

In Loving Memory of Robert “Bobby” Urbano Duchano
February 14, 1952 – June 10, 2025

On Tuesday morning, June 10th, our beloved brother Bobby passed away peacefully in hospice, surrounded by the love and warmth of his family. After 18 challenging months of ongoing health struggles, Bobby’s journey came to a close. While our hearts are heavy with loss, we take solace in the beautiful impact he left on everyone he knew. Bobby was born on February 14, 1952, a Valentine’s Day baby, and it suited him perfectly. His big heart and the love he freely gave to others made him the embodiment of what the day stands for; love, kindness, and joy. He had a deep compassion for those around him, and his ability to make others feel seen and cared for was one of his greatest gifts. His contagious spirit even charmed the doctors and nurses who cared for him, many remarking that he looked like a “rock star.”

Bobby's career was as vibrant and unique as his personality. He spent many years promoting for the circus in Florida, a world that mirrored his fun-loving, wild spirit. Some of his closest and dearest friends came from that colorful chapter of his life. Later, in Wolfeboro, he found a new passion in the meticulous art of house painting. He was always dedicated and precise in his work.  When he wasn’t working, Bobby loved spending time on the golf course with his golf buddies. His laughter and sense of humor were never far behind, and he certainly made them laugh with his wit and antics.

Above all, Bobby loved his family with all his heart. He is preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Duchano, and his father, Robert Duchano. He leaves behind his sister Cathy (Duchano) Hutchins, her husband Ricky Hutchins, and their children: Tony Hutchins and his wife Courtney (Fish) Hutchins, and their three children, Drew, Avery, and Ryder; Angela (Hutchins) Snyder and her husband John Snyder, along with their daughters Alexa and Sienna; Michael Hutchins and his wife Kara (Brown) Hutchins; and his sister Tonia (Duchano) Hutt and her husband George Hutt, and their daughter Caterina.

While we will miss him dearly, we take comfort in knowing that Bobby is now in the arms of our Lord and Savior, reunited with our mother, Gloria, in eternal peace. Heaven has gained an angel, and we hold on to the hope that we will see him again.

Bobby will forever be remembered for his love, his laughter, and the joy he brought to all of us. We will celebrate his spirited life in Wolfeboro at the Kingswood Golf Club on Monday, July 21, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. All are welcome to join us in remembering and honoring Bobby. A private family burial will take place at a later time. Additionally, we will be celebrating Bobby’s life in Florida with his many dear friends this winter, with a date to be determined. We look forward to gathering together to honor the vibrant and loving person he was.
