Scott A. McKenzie

Scott A. McKenzie, 60, died peacefully Wednesday, March 15, 2023, in his home in Tamworth, NH.

Scott was born in Denville NJ, September 19th, 1962 and grew up in Jefferson Township until he moved to Portland, Maine in 1981. He then moved to NH in 1984 where he has been affiliated with the Center of Hope/Northern Human Services of Carroll County until his passing. Scott has been a resident of Tamworth since 2015.

He completed his GED in Conway in 1992. He worked for the Conway Daily Sun for several years and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. He loved football and especially baseball. He always rooted for the New York Yankees. His favorite things were getting together with family and talking about old times and reading the Guinness Book of Records.

Scott will be greatly missed by his loving girlfriend Heather, family, and friends. He is survived by his mother, Edith McKenzie of Albany, NH, his brother Darren McKenzie and his wife Lorraine of Budd Lake, NJ, his sister Elissa Smith and her husband Bill of Albany, NH; several nieces and nephews: Matthew Withee of Albany NH, Sara Sidoti of Albany, NH, Isaac Smith of Albany, NH: Brad McKenzie of Budd Lake, NJ, Priscilla McKenzie of Budd Lake, NJ, Amber
McKenzie and her love Jeanette Valerio of Vienna, NJ; Great nieces and nephews: Landen McKenzie, Maddison McKenzie, of Budd Lake NJ, Davien Smith, of Albany, NH, Alessa Smith of Fryeburg, Maine, Natasha Kluchnick of Berlin, NH.

Service will be held Saturday, April 1st at 1pm at The River Church in Center Conway with Pastor Henry. In lieu of flowers please make any donation for the McKenzie Family, to The River Church, 2600 Main Street, Route 302, Center Conway, NH 03813 for expenses.
