Shirley E. (Ashford) Rivard

Wolfeboro, NH 

Shirley E. Rivard (Ashford), 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. 

She was born November 22, 1934 in Amherst, NH the daughter of the late Norman and Madeline (Watson) Ashford and raised by Philip Shattuck as the oldest child. 

Shirley is survived by her three children Shirlee Hayford, Wolfeboro, NH; James Rivard, Nashua, NH and Janice LeBoeuf and her husband John of Manchester, NH.  As the oldest she had 6 Ashford, 5 Shattucks and 2 Shea sibliings as well as many aunts, uncles, niece and nephews and cousins.  She also loved her seven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. 

She was a hard worker and a loveable person.  Everyone loved her, especially her chocolate chip cookies and banana bread.  She loved seeing her grandchildren, doing her crossword puzzles, coloring and watching Hallmark movies as well as other shows. 

Shirley will be dearly missed by many people. 

A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later Date.
