Susan Wood

Susan Wood, 72, of Alton, NH passed away peacefully late in the evening on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. Susan, a career nurse, served her community with professionalism, warmth, care, and joy. Her love and passion for crafting, cooking, and hospitality were always shown through her generosity toward others. The excitement she felt and brought to every situation new and every tradition relived would light up the room for everyone involved. A determined and stalwart person, wife, mother and grandmother, Susan endured and got everything she could out of every moment of her life. Her positivity, creativity, and love will forever endure through those whom she has enriched throughout her life.

Susan is survived by her husband Richard, children Steven and Erin, as well as her granddaughter Elaina. Also, she is survived by her siblings Patricia, Robert, and William. She shared her thoughts, wishes, and love with them and all those involved in her life constantly. The memories and experiences anyone has with her will always bring the laughter, smiles, and love she always intended them to. Susan’s life is one of celebration, community, friendship, and family.

A celebration of life and color will be on January 9, 2026 at 4:00 pm at Trenta Restaurant, Wolfeboro, NH.
