Our family is deeply saddened to announce Thomas Edward Clark passed away at age 74 on April 24, 2026 in Alton, NH. Tom touched the hearts of all he met with his quirky humor, warm conversation, playful spirit, and an Irish smile that lit up the room.

Tom was born on February 4, 1952, in Long Branch, New Jersey, and made New Hampshire his home in 1986. In 1978, he married the love of his life, Ruth, and together they shared 48 fun-filled years.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; his son, Mike, his wife Ryan, and their daughters, Cordelia and Serafina; his daughter, Jeannie Burns, her husband Bobby, and their son Marty; his beloved sister, Donna; his sister-in-law, Mary Clark, and her sons Patrick, Sean, Brendan, Brian, and Timmy; his cousin Eileen Renzo, whom he considered a sister from their escapades growing up together, along with the entire Corcione family — Kathy Tomain, Maureen Karsh,  Colleen Shimazu, Donald E. Corcione, and David J. Corcione; and his lifelong friend Clyde Brennan, who was truly like a brother to him.

Tom was predeceased by his brother, Eddie; his parents, Edward O. Clark and Frances (Osborn) Clark; his Uncle Donald J. Clark, his cherished theater companion; and many dear grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

Over the years, Tom wore many hats — banker, diamond seller, shoe salesman, and pharmacy clerk — but no matter the role, he connected to people with a charismatic joy uniquely his own. He especially treasured his years at Miltner Shoes in Concord and at Henniker Pharmacy.

You knew he was a Red Sox fan by his collection of baseball caps. Toms’ passion for 1960’s music was widely known. His guitar and a song were always close by. An avid fan of theater and movies, he was always ready to share his love of storytelling with a recommendation or review.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in Tom's memory may be made to a charity of your choice. 

Lord Funeral Home of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire is assisting the family with arrangements.

A service will be held at Lord Funeral Home in Wolfeboro, NH, at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, May 17, 2026. There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Morrissey's Porch & Pub, 286 South Main Street, Wolfeboro, NH.
