Virginia C. Thomas passed on October 26, 2023 at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. Born in Tamworth, NH to Harry S. and Alice Johnson. She is survived by her daughter Rebecca Silver of Scarborough, ME.
She worked as a nurse in both Maine and New Hampshire as well as providing private duty.
She was predeceased by 2 grandchildren Michell A. and Kevin J. Gelinas, as well as her husband William J. Thomas.
Virginia leaves 6 great grandchildren, Kevin and Cortney of Arizona as well as their mother Janeen. William of Florida, Chandler of North Carolina, Cameron of Texas and Jonathan of Maine.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm at Chocorua Cemetery in Chocorua, NH on November 8, 2023 by Paster Robin Soller.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tamworth Visiting Nursing Association, or to the Humane Society of your choice.
