W. Everett "Willey" Sargent Jr.

Ctr. Ossipee, NH 

Everett “Willey” Sargent, 90, of Ctr. Ossipee, NH passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at his home. 

He was born January 8, 1933 in Melrose, MA the son of the late Warren and Lucile Sargent (Vinton) and attended Melrose High School. 

Following his high school he entered the US Navy where he served from 1952 to 1956. 

Willey and his wife lived in Ctr. Ossipee for more than 60 years while spending winter in Nokomis, FL for many years. 

He had worked as a heavy equipment operator with Pike Industries for many years and during the winter months he worked for Dube & Murphy Oil Company in Center Ossipee, NH. 

He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Shirley Sargent and he is survived by his sister Jacqueline Laport of Hampstead, NH.  He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.  Everett was very fortunate for his niece Brenda Williams of Moultonville Road, Ctr. Ossipee who spent much of her time caring for him allowing to live his days in his home!. 

There will be no calling hours.  A Graveside service will be held 12:00 at Lakeview Cemetery, Freedom on Monday November 6, 2023.
