William Forrence Tarbox

William (Bill) Tarbox, 77, of Moultonborough, NH passed away peacefully on Friday, January 17, 2025. Bill was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on April 5, 1947, the son of the late Evelyn (Forrence) and Herbert Tarbox.

In the summer of 1987, Bill married Patricia (Stansfield) Tarbox on Lake Winnipesaukee. Bill was an avid boater, hunter, and fisherman. In his downtime, he enjoyed reading the newspaper and doing cryptograms; all with his dog, Buddy, by his side. Bill and Patty spent their weekend mornings eating at Katie’s Kitchen with friends whom they adored. He also loved being on his boat and camping.

He is survived by his brother David Tarbox and his wife Deborah (Sencabough) Tarbox of Laconia, NH and his sister Judith (Tarbox) Foote of Martin, GA; children Rick Tarbox of Sioux Falls, SD, and Cheri (Tarbox) Lees and her husband Frederick Lees III of Milford, NH; grandchildren Samantha Lees of Wilton, NH, Ryan Lees of Milford, NH, Mariah Tarbox of Nashua, NH, Cordairo Tarbox of Madison, SD, Matthew Tarbox of Milford, NH; and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sisters Patricia Upham of Nashua, NH, and Jean (Upham) Damaio of Hudson, FL.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the family.

Calling hours will be Friday, January 31, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Lord Funeral Home, 23 Club Lane, Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.
