Andrew Sven McCall Sr., 52 of Winner’s Circle Farm, passed away suddenly after skiing with close friends on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH.

Andy was born October 24, 1963 in Camden, NJ the son of Harry and Lynne McCall.  He was raised in Medford Lakes, NJ and attended and graduated from New Hampshire College.  Andy and his wife raised their family in Weston, Florida, spending summers in Tuftonboro, NH. They made a permanent move to Tuftonboro in 2009.

He worked for 30 years in the Supply Chain industry, most recently as a Vice President at Steelwedge Software in Pleasanton, CA.

Andy was an avid skier, mountain biker and all-around outdoorsman. He described himself as a “Mad Kitchen Scientist,” even winning the Kingswood Youth Center Chili Cook Off.

Andy had a personality as big as the “Gentle Giant” that he was; his loss will be felt by countless friends all across the country. He will be forever in the hearts of all who knew him.

Andy is survived by his wife of 26 years Denise (LeRoux) McCall and his children Jessica McCall, Melrose, MA; Annalise McCall, Tuftonboro, NH and Andrew Sven McCall Jr., Tuftonboro, NH.  He also leaves behind his parents Harry and Lynne McCall, Medford Lakes, NJ, a sister Heather Chevalier and her husband Doug and their three children of Ballston Lake, NY.

Calling hours will be Friday, April 1, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00PM at Lord Funeral Home, Wolfeboro, NH.  Memorial Services will be held Saturday, 11:00AM at the All Saints Episcopal Church, South Main Street, Wolfeboro, NH.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to either the Wolfeboro XC Ski Association, Wolfeboro, NH or the Mount Washington Observatory, North Conway, NH.
