Hi Al Cocci's family: I was saddened to read about passing away of my university (UNB, Fredericton, NB, Canada) colleague and friend Al Cocci. After my move away from Fredericton to Sherwood Park, Alberta in western Canada, I and Al lost contact. As I was searching for Al's contact to inform him of the passing away of our professor and Ph.D. supervisor Dr. Jules Picot of UNB two days ago, I found out about dear Al is no more.

It is rather belated, however I would like to convey my sincere condolences to his wife DIane Cocci and family.

Diane and Family, We are so sorry to hear of Al's passing. I have thought of our family and the people we haven't seen in years and wanting to get together again and share memories of us growing up, especially the times at Sebago Lake State Park. I feel so bad that he's gone and cannot share those memories with him. God Bless you and your family. Knowing Al, he was a loving person and I'm sure he will be sorely missed by all. I know Jim and I will miss him. Lots of Love, Cousin Karen and Jim

Although I have not seen Al since I retired in 2001, it does not mean that I have forgotten him and his family's years in Marysville. Al and I shared rides to and from work and enjoyed many good conversations. I will cherish the memoties.

Diane,
David and I were so very sorry to learn of Al's passing. I wish I could attend the memorial service, but it isn't possible. Al was a great co-boss, and his encouragement and support over the years meant more than can be expressed in words. He was one of a kind and will be missed so much... by so many. He'll never be forgotten.
