Doug was a loyal and coveted friend of my father's. We have an old family camp on Wawbeek. Over the years, additions and modifications have been made. It amazes me how things that appear to be simple are indeed elegant. His fingerprints are all over this camp and this place is rooted deep in family tradition. He will be missed, but also remembered.

What a Dear Man. A twinkle in his eye and a "Merry-Little-Diddy" - a song, or verse, to recite at a moments notice. He will be greatly missed by those of us who were privileged to call him friend. Love and Prayers to Jean and family.

I've met very few people in my life that I liked instantly, Doug was one. A very wise man and someone I enjoyed talking to. I never heard him complain but I know he was in pain. Doug loved his wife and children very much that could be seen in his eyes when he talked of them. I'm blessed to have met Doug and proud to have been a friend. To Jean and all the family my deepest sympathy.

We miss him already! He was always ready with a smile and greeting even when his arthritis had him in pain! Great Man! And made sons just like him I'm sure! But glad he is with the Lord and no more pain! "I want to stroll over heaven " with you, Doug, and all our good friends! Prayers for Jean and all the family and love too.
