Guy Robert Spinale, age 78, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2016.
He was born on December 28, 1937 and was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Rita (Lee) Spinale. Guy grew up in Danvers on Spinale Road and he served our country as a proud member of the United States Navy.

Guy enjoyed a rich and rewarding life in a variety of activities. He was loved by many and is well known for his generous spirit often offering assistance of his remarkable craftsman skills, precious words of encouragement, as well as monetary gifts. He truly enjoyed spending time at his cottage at the lake and enjoying the outdoors.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Epstein-Spinale (Evans), and they shared the last 19 years together. He is also survived by his sister Rose (Spinale) Mercier of Marblehead; son Frank Spinale of Texas; daughter Jana Spinale of Missouri; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; 5 nieces and 9 nephews. He was also predeceased by his sisters Marie (Spinale) Aldous and Jerri (Spinale) Mandra, sons Scott Spinale and Tim Spinale, along with his late dog Spike, who are now hanging out together again in heaven.

A memorial service will be held at Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Lynn, Friday June 10, 2016 at 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to Greater Lynn Senior Services.
